Permits
Permits for new home construction and sheds (both agricultural and residential accessory structures) along with any construction that alters the footprint of a current structure (examples: additions, decks, pools etc.) need to be submitted to the Greenvale Township Clerk for review by the Planning Commission and the Greenvale Town Board before being processed by the Building Inspector.
Permits must be received by the Town Clerk at least 10 business days prior to the Planning Commission meeting, which is held the second Thursday of each month. Applications received after this date will be added to the Planning Commission agenda for the following month's meeting.
Persons requesting a building permit shall fill out a building permit form below. Forms can also be requested from Township Clerk at clerk@greenvaletwp.org. In the event construction is started before a building permit is obtained, fees will be doubled. The fee schedule will be reviewed annually.
Please refer to the 2026-01 Ordinance for a complete list of required permits and the associated fees.
Use Minnesota Statute 326.153 Valuation Table for permit fees
